Description

A file containing 6 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store on the High Street, Ashford. Known as Woolworths store number 249, this was the two-hundred and forty-ninth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1927. The store was extended in the 1950s. It closed in December 2008.
