A file containing 67 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store on the corner of Wellington Place and Pelham Street, Hastings. Known as Woolworths store number 251, this was the two-hundred and fifty-first branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1927. Woolworths acquired land at 2-6 Wellington Place and 15-20 Pelham Street in 1926. The new store opened at 1-7 Wellington Place in 1927; it closed in January 2009.
