Description

A file containing 21 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store in Rhyl, Wales. Known as Woolworths store number 308, this was the three-hundred and eighth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1928. The store originally opened on the High Street; it was extended in 1931. In 1956, Woolworths moved to a purpose-built store at 1-4 East Parade, on the site of the Royal Cafe.
