Description

A file containing 11 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store on Market Street, Wellingborough. Known as Woolworths store number 317, this was the three-hundred and seventeenth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1928. The store originally opened at 10 Market Street. In the 1970s a new store was built on the site, extended to 10-11 Market Street. It closed in December 2008.
