Description

A file containing 26 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store on Haymarket, Sheffield. Known as Woolworths store number 319, this was the three-hundred and nineteenth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1928. The store originally opened at 12-14 Haymarket but in 1959 moved to a purpose-built store at 34-36 Haymarket. The store closed in 1986.
