Description

A file containing photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store on the High Street, Stockton-on-Tees. Known as Woolworths store number 336, this was the three-hundred and thirty-sixth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1928. The store was extended in 1933 and in 1974 moved to the Castlegate Shopping Centre on the High Street.
