Description

A file containing 4 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store in Wallsend. Known as Woolworths store number 351, this was the three-hundred and fifty-first branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1929. The store originally opened at 73-75 High Street West but in 1959 moved to purpose-built premises at 2-4 High Street East.
