Description

A file containing 20 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store on New Street, Wellington. Known as Woolworths store number 424, this was the four-hundred and twenty-fourth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1930. The store originally opened at 15 New Street and was later extended into number 17. It closed in December 2008.
