Description

A file containing 28 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store in Abertillery. Known as Woolworths store number 431, this was the four-hundred and thirty-first branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1931. Woolworths originally opened on Somerset Street but in the 1960s moved to premises on the High Street. The store closed in December 2008.
