Description

A file containing twenty-six photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store at 7 Bailey Street, Oswestry. Known as Woolworths store number 487, this was the 487th branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1933. Originally this store opened at 12-14 Cross Street, but it moved to new premises on Bailey Street in the 1960s. The store closed in December 2008.
