Description

A file containing 7 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store on the High Road, Leytonstone. Known as Woolworths store number 530, this was the five-hundred and thirtieth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1933. The store was housed on the ground floor of the new Leytonstone Branch Library, which opened in September 1934. Woolworths closed in December 2008.
