Description

A file containing 7 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store on South Road, Haywards Heath. Known as Woolworths store number 552, this was the five-hundred and fifty-second branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1934. The store originally opened in Haywards Heath at 106-108 South Road, but in the 1970s Woolworths moved to purpose-built premises at 59-63 South Road.
