Description

A file containing 31 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store in Abingdon. Known as Woolworths store number 712, this was the seven-hundred and twelfth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1938. The store originally opened at 15 High Street but later moved to 21 Bury Street. This store closed in January 2009.
