Description

A file containing 15 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store on the High Street, Cleethorpes. Known as Woolworths store number 774, this was the seven-hundred and seventy-fourth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1952. The store originally opened at 26-28 High Street in the former Coliseum Cinema, but in around 1969/1970 moved to new premises at 33-37 High Street. This store closed in December 2008.
