Description

A file containing 1 photograph depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store in White Lion Square, Hatfield. Known as Woolworths store number 1021, this was the one-thousand and twenty-first branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1959. The premises were numbered 7-9 White Lion Square in 1961 but by 1969 had been renumbered as 26-28 White Lion Square. This store closed at some point between 1972 and 1995.
