Twelve reconstruction drawings and eleven general illustrations depicting Audley End House and Gardens, and its wider estate, throughout its history. The illustrations were made by various illustrators between circa 1990 and 2008, and were reproduced in English Heritage guidebooks and publications.
Two reconstruction drawings by Christian Hook depict aerial views of Audley End House and its estate in the Jacobean and Georgian periods. There are two 'orientation' aerial views of the estate in the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries, created by Peter Dunn and Liam Wales respectively.
The majority of the illustrations in this set were created by Judith Dobie in January 2006, and include ten reconstruction drawings and six general illustrations of workers, horticultural produce and animals from the kitchen gardens and flower nurseries at Audley End in the late-nineteenth century, based on the diary entries of William Cresswell, a gardener at Audley End in the Victorian era.
There is also one black and white preliminary sketch, created by Peter Dunn. This has not been catalogued at item level.
