Three reconstruction illustrations, two orientation illustrations and one general illustration depicting Bolsover Castle and its interiors, created between 1966 and 1999 by illustrators Alan Sorrell and Peter Dunn.
Two reconstruction illustrations depict interior scenes from the site, with a further one digitally-produced reconstruction illustration giving a cut-away view of Cavendish's 'Little Castle'. The orientation illustrations give aerial views of the entire site as it appears in the present day and the general illustration is of the heraldic shield in the Star Chamber.
Note: IC014/002 has been on loan to former EH staff member Peter Dunn since 07/01/2004 and is therefore currently unable to be accessed. Consequently, the cataloguing entry for this item is basic and will be updated when the original is returned.
There are also two black and white preliminary sketches and some additional backup material, created by Peter Dunn. These have not been catalogued at item level.
