Description

One reconstruction illustration and two general illustrations depicting Carlisle Castle, created between 1992 and 2008. Two orientation illustrations are included, created by the illustrator Terry Ball; these equate to one digital scan of an original and the later amended original, effectively meaning there are two versions of the image. These images were used as orientation maps in the 1992 and 2008 English Heritage site guidebooks for Carlisle Castle.

There is also a reconstruction of the Keep and inner bailey circa 1400, created by Liam Wales.

There is also one black and white preliminary sketch, created by Terry Ball. This has not been catalogued at item level.
