Description

Seven reconstruction illustrations depicting Hailes Abbey as it may have appeared before its suppression, created between 1992 and 1997 by the illustrator Terry Ball and included in English Heritage's series of guidebooks for the site. Also, one orientation illustration created by Liam Wales showing a present day aerial view of the site. The set includes four reconstructions of the interior of the Abbey buildings and three aerial reconstructions showing the entire site.

There are also thirty-two black and white and one colour preliminary sketches, created by Terry Ball. These have not been catalogued at item level.
