Description

Eleven reconstruction illustrations depicting aerial, exterior and interior views of Middleham Castle and its component structures, as they may have appeared at various points in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, with an additional orientation illustration created in 2015 by Liam Wales. Many of reconstruction illustrations were created between 1992 and 1995 by illustrator Terry Ball, with seven of the drawings reproduced in subsequent English Heritage guidebooks for the site.

There are also thirty-five black and white preliminary sketches, created by Terry Ball. These have not been catalogued at item level.
