Fourteen reconstruction illustrations and two general illustrations depicting Mount Grace Priory, its component structures and inhabitants, at various points in time throughout the medieval period through to the present day. The illustrations were created by a number of illustrators and date from between 1963 and May 2014. A number of the illustrations have been reproduced in English Heritage guidebooks for the priory.
This set of illustrations includes six aerial views of the priory at various points in its history, including an early depiction by Alan Sorrell and another view by Terry Ball showing the site in its ruinous state, as it appears today. These illustrations have been created at various points and for various purposes since the early 1960s. The set also includes four reconstruction illustrations created by Ivan Lapper in the early 1990s, showing details of the site and visualisations of people involved with it. There is also a reconstruction painting by Philip Corke depicting the interior of a bedroom in Mount Grace House (former Manor House), decorated in the Arts and Crafts style. In 2014 two new illustrations were commissioned for a new site guidebook; an aerial reconstruction by Dominic Andrews and an aerial orientation illustration by Liam Wales. The set also includes one born-digital reconstruction by Carlos Lemos showing Cell 8 and created in 2018.
