Description

Four reconstruction illustrations and one orientation illustration depicting Rochester Castle between the twelfth century and the present day. The illustrations were created between 1970 and 2012 by illustrators Alan Sorrell, Chris Jones-Jenkins, Adrian Field and Liam Wales, and were reproduced in various guidebooks for the castle produced by English Heritage.

There is also one black and white preliminary sketch created by Terry Ball which has not been catalogued at item level and one illustration of the letter 'S' which is reproduced as an initial in the 1987 site guidebook.
