Description

Eight reconstruction illustrations depicting Silchester Roman City Walls and Amphitheatre, also known as Calleva Atrebatum. The illustrations were created circa 1990 - 2000 by illustrator Ivan Lapper and depict the Roman city, its defensive walls and the amphitheatre in the third and fourth centuries.
