Description

Five reconstruction illustrations depicting Totnes Castle and the town of Totnes in Devon, created between 1965 and circa 1991by illustrators Alan Sorrell and Ivan Lapper respectively. The set includes a reconstruction of the castle in the fourteenth century by Alan Sorrell, and four reconstructions of the castle and town from the eleventh to fourteenth centuries, by Ivan Lapper. The illustrations have been reproduced in various guidebooks produced by English Heritage.
