Description

Fourteen reconstruction illustrations depicting the medeival village of Wharram Percy in North Yorkshire, and its buildings. The illustrations were created between circa 1988 and 2005, and have been reproduced in English Heritage publication and guidebooks, as well as on information panels placed at the site.

The set includes six reconstructions by Peter Dunn, created between circa 1988 and 1990, which depict buildings and views at the site.

Illustrator Stephen Conlin created a further seven sheets of reconstruction illustrations which show views of the village at its height, a manor building and the development of St Martin's Church in the village.

There are also three black and white and one colour preliminary sketches, created by Peter Dunn. These have not been catalogued at item level.
