Description

Thirty-one reconstruction illustrations and twenty-three general illustrations depicting the buildings, interiors and everyday life at Lullingstone Roman Villa. The illustrations were created between circa 1955 and 2008 by various illustrators, and were reproduced in publications, English Heritage site guidebooks and on new interpretation panels placed at the site. The illustrations include phased reconstructions of the villa throughout its construction development, illustrations of the Greek mythological story of Belepheron, and imagined depictions of everyday life at the villa.
