Description

One orientation illustration and two reconstruction illustrations, depicting the Jewel Tower (sometimes known as the Jewel House) at the former Palace of Westminster. The illustrations were all created in April 2013.

The orientation illustration, created by Liam Wales, gives an aerial view of Westminster as it appears today, with the Jewel Tower in the foreground. There are also two cut-away reconstruction illustrations by Chris Jones-Jenkins, depicting the tower as it may have appeared in the late fourteenth century.
