Description

Three reconstruction drawings showing the boathouses in Sefton Park and Prince's Park and the glasshouse in Wavertree Botanic Garden and Park, all now lost. The drawings were created for ‘Places of Health and Amusement: Liverpool's historic parks and gardens’ by Katy Layton-Jones and Robert Lee (2008). In the publication they have been superimposed over modern photographs to show how the structures would appeared in their original settings.

Also three illustrations by Rachel M Cross showing oblique views of Wavertree Botanic Garden and Park, Newsham Park and St John's Gardens which were created for a series of information leaflets on Liverpool’s parks, funded by English Heritage and Liverpool City Council in 2008.
