Description

Five reconstruction illustrations created by Allan T Adams for the publication ‘Berwick-upon-Tweed: Three places, two nations, one town’ by Adam Menuge and Catherine Dewar (2009). These include the published watercolour illustrations and the pencil drawings from which they were produced. The illustrations show late 19th century Tyneside flats built on Etal Road and a fishing shiel with watch-box and cold store on the banks of the River Tweed.
