Description

A series of illustrations created by Allan T Adams for the 2004 publication 'Built to Last? The buildings of the Northamptonshire boot and shoe industry' by Kathryn A Morrison and Ann Bond. These include cut-away reconstructions of buildings associated with the industry and a number of illustrations of objects used in the manufacturing process. There are also three maps showing the main centres of manufacture in the city of Northampton and the county of Northamptonshire.
