Description
Photograph album labelled 'Aerodromes: Filton Runway', containing 32 black and white prints showing the excavation and construction of the runway at Filton airfield. Most of the photographs are progress shots showing machinery excavating the site but also included are images of the Brabazon 1 airliner being constructed in hanger, images showing research and testing of cement cubes and concrete aggregates, view of site planning and progress department as well as an image of an unidentified airplane on runway.
