Description

Photograph album containing 170 prints documenting the progress of the construction of Shoreham Cement Works in 1949. Included are general shots of offices and stores and more detailed photographs showing driving of piles, excavation of chalk face for chalk crusher plant and construction of reinforced concrete silos.
