Description

Photograph album labelled 'Docks and Harbours' containing 66 prints showing the construction of Plymouth Wharf next to the power station. As well as general shots showing its construction are images showing the old wooden wharf, excavation, cofferdam, details of intake works - including suction and pump chambers - concrete piles and divers above surface of water waiting to place concrete cylinders. In the background to some of the photographs can be seen the Prince Rock power station.
