Description

Photograph album labelled 'Factories' containing 56 prints showing the construction of factory for Murphy Radio designed by architect C. W. Hutton. As well as general views of site the album documents the inauguration day on 18 October 1953, the construction of the shell arch roof which was built using shuttering supported on 60 ft long steel travellers on rails and details showing finishing of roof, views of architectural model and man operating 'wacker' tamper.
