Description

Photograph album labelled 'Holloways' containing 54 black and white prints documenting work carried out in London by the Holloway Brothers in the latter half of the 1960s. Laing Construction took over the London building firm of Holloways in 1964.

Included are exterior and interior views of Citibank House, of the completed printing and reproductive floors of Briant Colour Print Works (7 Dec 1967), of interior and exterior of 'M' shed cargo warehouse, India and Millwall Docks showing completed building and building under construction and including details of steelwork, waffle floor, elevated roadway and 'Lawrence Colebrook' portal cranes (1966 - 1967), exterior views of Battersea College of Advanced Technology and interior views of study bedroom, common room, dining room (1967) and view of architectural perspective drawing (May 1965) and one image of canteen at Hoares Bank before alterations (9 Aug 1968).
