Description

Photograph album labelled 'Oil Refineries' showing completed Coryton Oil Refinery buildings, including 272 ft high air-lift Thermofar Catalytic Cracking Unit and opening of the refinery by the Queen Mother on 27 May 1954. Also included are interior photographs of Mobil Oil technical services laboratories, conference room, office and reception showing people at work, and view of tanker unloading crude oil from Middle East.
