Description

Photograph album labelled 'Roads By-Pass : Wheatley By-Pass 1' containing 76 black and white prints showing the construction of various sections of Wheatley Bypass including New Thame junction, Sworford Flyover, Wheatley River Bridge, Waterperry underpass and road, Vicarage Hill Flyover, Cassidy Cattle Creep, Cottersey Culvert, Bulmore Culvert and Great Milton Turn diversion. Also included are images showing experimental carriageways at Chilworth Hill including photographs of dry lean concrete train and tents, SGME box spreader laying sub-base and construction of marginal haunch.
