Description

Photograph album labelled 'Universities' containing 91 black and white prints showing the construction of refectory for Kings College, Newcastle including interior views of partly finished entrance to ballroom showing softwood feature walls and photographs showing progress of construction of physics block for Imperial College London. As well as general views showing excavation, laying of foundations, formwork and structural steelwork, the latter includes detailed shots of service ducts and piping suspended from ceilings as well as carving to decorative marble panel over main entrance and construction of walls to radioactive store.
