Description

Photographic album containing 56 black and white prints showing construction of 11 Portland Place (aka 9-11 Portland Place). The album contains exterior and interior views as well as portraits of some of the people employed on site.

The building was constructed as the British Council Students Centre and flats for overseas students. It is now known as Ambika House.
