Description

Folder 2 contains 306 colour slides relating to Second World War airfields and related sites. The contents include portraits of Air Chief Marshal Christopher Foxley-Norris, Wing Commander Alan Geoffrey Page and Air Commodore Alan Christopher Deere; the graves of Sergeant Pilot Eric T C Frith at Oxford Cemetery, Pilot Officer Billy Fiske at Boxgrove Priory and monuments at Warmwell RAF Cemetery. The airfields covered include RAF Tangmere, RAF Museum Hendon, RAF Ibsley, RAF Lavenham, RAF Rattlesden, RAF Knettishall, RAF Deenethorpe and RAF Hardwick.
