Description

Folder 26 contains 115 colour slides relating to Second World War airfields and structures at RAF Deenethorpe, RAF Twinwood Farm, RAF Molesworth, RAF Alconbury, RAF Lavenham, RAF Thurleigh, plus murals at RAF Horham and RAF Shipdham. The images also show clothing and artefacts, including WW2 bomber nose art in Texas, portraits of people and an airplane graveyard in Arizona. A selection of the slides has been catalogued to item level.
