Folder 28 contains 96 colour slides and photographic positives relating to Second World War airfields and related sites. The contents include: Anti-tank barriers at Cripps Corner, East Sussex; the RAF Fighter Command Office at Bentley Priory, Stanmore; RAF Hawkinge, Kent; Beachy Head, East Sussex; Seven Sisters, East Sussex; Pillboxes near Folkstone, Kent; Birling Gap fortifications, East Sussex; the former home of Air Chief Marshall Lord Dowding at 1 Calverley Park, Royal Tunbridge Wells; and a pillbox at Lympne.

A selection of the slides has been catalogued to item level.
