Description

Folder 37 contains 153 colour slides relating to Second World War sites and structures, with no images of airfields. The majority of the slides were taken at sites in France and show U-boat pens at La Pallice, Bordeaux and St Nazaire. The remaining slides show the Liberty ship SS Jeremiah O'Brien in SanFrancisco, an anti-ship mine at a museum in Halifax, Nova Scotia and the Halifax Sailors' Memorial. The slides have not been catalogued to item level.
