Photograph album containing 42 mounted prints showing the construction and opening of the Queensway, or Mersey, Tunnel. Each print is captioned and dated. The photographs were taken by Stewart Bale Ltd, a commercial photographic firm based in Liverpool. Many of the prints show construction workers. The album is titled 'THE MERSEY TUNNEL' with the company name of Edmund Nuttal, Sons and Co., Ltd., who were contractors working on the tunnel, on the cover.
