852 sheets dating largely from the 1980s and 1990s, with several from the 1940s to 1970s, two from 2008, three from the late nineteenth to early twentieth century, and twenty-one from 2013. These include many drawings of the Terrace Range, with photogrammetric surveys from the 1970s, studies of the interior walls from 1984 and of the rooms from 1989, 1994 and 1995.
There are drawings of the Little Castle, including studies of its rooms in 1994, 1995 and 1998, plus several drawings of its turrets, forecourt, drainage and electrics.
There are a large number of moulding profiles and detail sketches from 1994 and 1995.
The Riding House Range drawings include many in the 1990s for proposed alterations to the building, in addition to many sheets from 1998-99 concerning the new visitor building. There are also three drawings of the Cundy House which used to supply water to the castle.
During 1998-99 a Panelling research project was carried out by English Heritage, examining the condition of the oak interior. A new visitors centre was also designed during the late twentieth century and many sheets show plans, sections elevations for the construction of this facility.
There are a number of photogrammetric elevations and survey plans from 2013, relating to the wall walk and a Riding House exhibition.
