Description

Thirty sheets relating to the recording and conversion of Brooklands House, created between 1999 and 2003 as English Heritage acquired office space in the house.

A set of eight sheets of sketches and design sketches show courtyard and walled garden as extant in 1999 and identify possible space for conversion to office spaces. This set contains drawings of four design schemes for the conversion works.

A series of twenty-two sheets were created in 2000 by Plowman Craven and Associates on behalf of English Heritage and form a comprehensive survey of the site and its buildings. The set includes site plans, floor plans, elevations and sectional elevations of the main house, stable block and outbuilding.

A further five sheets relate to a survey of the car park area and were created in 2003 by English Heritage.
