Description

Twenty-six sheets of drawings relating to Condercum Roman station and associated sites on and around Hadrian's Wall at Benwell.

The earliest sheets are from the 1930s and show plans of the housing estate where the Roman temple of Antenociticus is located, and proposed railings for the temple and station sites.

There are various plans, elevations and sketches from the 1930s to the 1980s, and survey sheets, including rectified photography, from 1985. The most recent sheets are drawings by the Central Excavation Unit from 1989.
