Description

118 sheets, the earliest of which are Ordnance Survey map sheets from 1923. The set includes site plans; elevations from 1928 and 1929 (some of which are damaged); various drawings from the early 1930s; reproduction plans from the late 1940s and a revision from 1969; drawings for a new site office from 1970; copy plans from 1981; several photogrammetric surveys from the early- and mid-1980s; a topographic survey from 1984 and rectified photography from 1985.

Several other sheets from the late-1980s and mid-1990s are general drawings and surveys relating to site development and maintenance. The most recent sheet is from 1994 and shows the design for a working scaffold for the castle's gateway.
