202 sheets of drawings of the castle, including its hall house and solar tower, dating from between 1972 and 1987. The early 1970s sheets are general site and deed plans, and from between 1976 and 1978 there are several sheets of survey drawings, photogrammetric elevations and rectified photography.
The largest group of drawings relate to remedial work proposed and carried out between 1978 and 1983, and were created by contractors, notably Douglass Wise and Partners.
There are several drawings from between 1982 and 1984 relating to stabilisation of the leaning north-east buttress, and a number of sheets from between 1983 and 1987 describing features including new cattle grids, a bridge through the bastion, drainage, and road signs. A graphics report relating to road and site signage, dating from 1984, is also included, as is a drawing showing a proposed new surface water drainage scheme from 2003.
