Description

270 drawings mainly from the twentieth and twenty-first century, though with one photographic copy of an eighteenth century site plan.

A number of sheets from the 1920s show proposals for bridges between the towers to form a wall walk.

Beginning in the 1940s there are drawings for new drainage, water, heating and electricity services, etc. for the custodian's residence in the poorhouse, that continue into the 80s.

Excavation drawings from 1955 show the materials of the soil, burials, pottery and finds in the ground around the approach road to the castle.

From the 1970s to 1980s there are proposals for visitor facilities including a new ticket office and shop.

From the 1980s to the 2010s there are a number of surveys: a topographical survey of the sight in January 1986, photogrammetric surveys of the towers in November 1986 and June 1992, and rectified photography of the towers and curtain from 2001 and 2012.
